BEHIND THE MUSIC
Born in Union City, New Jersey, and raised in Clearwater/St. Petersburg, Florida since the age of 11, [Artist Name] is a young Puerto Rican recording artist whose journey into music began almost by accident.
At 13, while spending time with friends in the same apartment complex, he found himself surrounded by people making music. What started as simply hanging around and being curious slowly became something much deeper. He discovered a passion for writing, recording, and creating music of his own.
The beginning wasn’t glamorous. There was no blueprint and no shortcut. He had to teach himself how to record, learn how to write songs, and figure out what it meant to actually become an artist. He spent time recording at a few different house studios around the area, learning something new every time he stepped behind a microphone.
Eventually, one of his friends connected him with a professional studio in the area. That opportunity became an important turning point. It was there that he recorded his first official project, The Lost & Found — a project that represented the beginning of him taking music seriously and seeing himself as more than someone who simply enjoyed making songs.
Along the way, he built genuine friendships with other young artists who were chasing the same dream. Together, they learned, experimented, recorded, and pushed each other forward. What started with kids making music around an apartment complex slowly began turning into something real.
Eventually, those bedroom recordings started turning into real opportunities. He began performing at smaller local gigs and finding ways to get his name and music in front of people. While still in school, he started selling tickets for visiting artists and earning short 3–5 minute opening slots at their shows. Those moments gave him something he couldn’t get from recording alone: the experience of standing in front of a crowd and realizing that music could actually become a life.
But life eventually pulled him in another direction.
A series of setbacks forced him to step away from music. Around the same period, he was blessed with a baby girl, and becoming a father completely changed his priorities. He made the decision to put the artist in him on pause so he could learn how to be a father, be present for his daughter, and work toward giving her the life and father figure she deserved.
The road wasn’t easy.
He lost jobs. He lost an apartment he shared with friends. He lost his car around the same time. In a short period, much of what he had built seemed to disappear, forcing him to do something he hadn’t planned on doing — start over.
But starting over also gave him perspective.
Now, he’s balancing three major parts of his life: working, being a father, and being an artist. It’s not always easy finding the time or energy to pursue music while carrying the responsibilities of everyday life, but that’s exactly what makes this chapter different.
This isn’t simply another project.
It’s a reset.
Every setback, every sacrifice, every lesson, every late night, and every moment spent away from music has become part of the story behind what’s coming next. The artist who started writing songs at 13 is still here — only now he’s carrying years of experience, fatherhood, loss, growth, and a completely different perspective on what it means to chase a dream.
This new project represents a fresh start — not just musically, but personally.
From the bottom, with something to prove and a reason bigger than himself.
